Ingredients For Easy Fish Curry Recipe:

  • 1 lb fish fillets (such as salmon, cod, or tilapia)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable or cooking oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder (or to taste)
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 cup water
  • Fresh coriander leaves, for garnish

Instructions For Easy Fish Curry Recipe:

In a huge dish or Dutch stove, heat the oil over medium-high intensity.

Add the mustard seeds and broil for a couple of moments until they begin to pop.

Add the onion and broil until brilliant brown


Add the garlic, ginger paste, tomatoes, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt, and fry for a few minutes until the oil separates from the masala.

Add the fish fillets and stir until well coated with the masala.

Add the water and heat it to the point of boiling.

Reduce the heat and simmer, covered, for 5-7 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with rice or naan.
