Ingredients:

·  1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

·       1 cup plain yogurt

·       2 tablespoons lemon juice

·       1 tablespoon ginger paste

·       1 tablespoon garlic paste

·       1 teaspoon cumin

·       1 teaspoon coriander

·       1 teaspoon garam masala

·       1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

·       Salt, to taste

·       4 tablespoons butter, divided

·       1 large onion, finely chopped

·       1 cup tomato puree

·       1 cup heavy cream

·       Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish

Method:

In a bowl, combine the chicken, yogurt, lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin, coriander, garam masala, cayenne pepper, and salt. Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 1 hour and up to 24 hours.

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the chicken on a baking sheet and roast until it is cooked through, about 20 minutes.

In a large pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the tomato puree and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
