CHICKEN SAMOSAS

Chicken samosas are a famous snack of the sub-continent. It's difficult to make chicken samosas at home. So here I m sharing an easy samosas recipe with you. Don't forget any steps. completely guide you with filling ingredients to the dough. Must follow all instructions. 


Ingredients (for the filling):

1 pound ground chicken

1 onion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon ginger paste

1 tablespoon garlic paste

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon coriander

1 teaspoon garam masala

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Salt, to taste

1 cup frozen peas

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Ingredients (for the dough):

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup water

2 tablespoons vegetable oil


Instructions:

To make the filling, heat a pan over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and cook until it is browned

about 5-7 minutes.

Add the onion, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin, coriander, garam masala, cayenne pepper, and salt. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Stir in the peas and cilantro and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Take the pan off the heat and set it aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt to make the dough. Mix in the water and oil until a dough forms. Knead the dough for a few minutes, or until smooth. Cut the dough into 12 equal parts.

Roll each piece of dough into a thin circle on a lightly floured surface. Each circle should be cut in half to form two semi-circles.

Fill each semi-circle with a spoonful of the filling. Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges together to seal.

Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Remove the samosas from the pan and drain on a paper towel. Serve hot with chutney or tamarind sauce on the side.
